I am a precision medicine physician.
The Harlin Center for Precision Medicine is a leader in genomics-based preventive healthcare. We specialize in combining a detailed interpretation of your genome and microbiome with an exceptionally comprehensive clinical examination. I have received the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) highest award for seamlessly integrating the electronic health record into clinical practice.
I am database programmer and quantitative investor.
I have developed thousands of indicators for TDAmeritrade’s Thinkorswim platform and coded or tested countless algorithms in Quantopian’s crowd-sourced hedge fund. My own investment decisions combine an immense respect for both human insight with the computer’s brute-force ability to recognize patterns, represent data in a rapidly assimilatable way, and embed my favorite heuristics.
I am a teacher.
In 2016, I became the first U.S. physician fully certified by the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) to provide its Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) program. At the same time, I was appointed as an adjunct professor to teach SMART at New College of Florida (NCF).
